apocalandia

Without a house in Malibu, a TV or NPR (since it’s been replaced by Kinsey Millhone for the past few days; incidentally, it wasn’t the babysitter’s boyfriend), my only proof that my corner of the world is on fire is the hot thick air and the layer of ash on my car. But that’s plenty, don’t you think?

Thanks to Jessi for reminding me that animals like to not be on fire too.

There was a time when I got into Grafton's Alphabet series. I really enjoyed. I think I stopped because I knew it would be an expensive venture to get previous alphabet books.

Thus the magic of LAPL! But yeah, 26 is a big commitment.

ok, this might seem like the dorkiest, but the grafton books on tape are a good way to pass time in traffic AND get your millhone fix.

p.s. there is a kinsey millhone bio on wiki. maybe that's the dorkiest.
